The vision behind this project was to explore the tropes of Interstellar through experimental typography and layout design. This project amounted to over 60 spreads created within a 4-month time span, broken down into three distinct sections of the screenplay. Each member of our group of three chose a section of the story to manipulate. Our group was directed and critiqued by Mrs. Kelly Bryant of Auburn University.

I took a great deal of knowledge out of this experience and am thankful I was given the opportunity to design without boundaries. Having the space to explore storytelling through type and image altered the way I now approach new projects. I used fragmented type, pull quotes, bitmapping and so much more in my retelling of Interstellar.
